Ty Wyatt grew in Oregon and caught his first steelhead on the N F Alsea in 1986. Ty has spend the last 14 of 15 summers in Alaska splitting his time between conducting fisheries research and being a fishing guide. Ty has worked for ODFW, ADFG, and USFWS conducting various research projects from the Elk River on Oregon's south coast to the Andreafsky River on the Lower Yukon River in far Western Alaska.
